Privacy Policy
We collect only what we need to respond to you. We do not sell your information, we do not share it unnecessarily, and we use it only in ways you would reasonably expect. This page explains what we collect, why, where it goes, and what you can do about it. It describes how this website actually works, and nothing it does not do.
Who we are
Clarity Systems is operated by The Trustee for Clarity Community Trust (ABN 90 920 274 542), based in Western Australia. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Clarity Systems.
This policy covers personal information we handle through this website, doitwithclarity.org. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
What we collect and why
When you fill in the contact form on /start, we collect your name, email address, phone number (optional), a short description of your business, and your annual revenue range. We use this only to understand your enquiry and respond to it.
When you visit the site, our hosting provider keeps standard technical logs, such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested. This is ordinary web server activity used to keep the site secure and running. We do not use it to build a profile of you or to identify you personally.
Cookies and tracking
This website does not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, advertising cookies, or any third-party tracking. We do not build advertising profiles, and we do not track you across other websites.
We do not set marketing or analytics cookies. Any storage the site uses is limited to making it work, such as remembering that you have dismissed a prompt during your visit. That information stays in your browser.
How we use your information
We use your contact form submission to write back to you, to arrange a conversation if you want one, and to tailor our response to your situation.
We do not use your information for anything outside these purposes, and we will not add you to a marketing list without your consent.
Who we share your information with
We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. We rely on a small number of service providers to run the website and reach you:
Vercel hosts the website and keeps the standard server logs described above. Vercel operates from the United States and globally.
Resend delivers the email that carries your contact form submission to our inbox. Resend operates from the United States.
These providers process information only to provide their service to us. Because they are based overseas, your information may be processed or stored outside Australia, primarily in the United States. We take reasonable steps to ensure it is handled consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.
How we store and protect your information
Information is sent over encrypted (HTTPS) connections. Your enquiry reaches us by email, and we limit access to the people who need it to respond to you.
No method of transmission or storage is ever completely secure, but we use reasonable measures to protect your information. If we ever experience a data breach that is likely to cause you serious harm, we will notify you and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner in line with the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry information only as long as we need it to respond to you and, where relevant, to maintain a relationship with you. If you ask us to delete it and we are not required by law to keep it, we will.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the information we hold about you. You can ask us to stop using your information for any purpose.
To make a request, email info@doitwithclarity.org. We will respond within a reasonable time, and within 30 days where the request relates to access or correction.
Complaints
If you are concerned about how we have handled your information, please contact us first at info@doitwithclarity.org so we can put it right.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the business develops. The current version is always available on this page, with the version number and date shown at the top. If we make a material change and you have an active relationship with us, we will let you know.
